1. Product reommendation: Castings
Product selection is primarily based on the thermal resistance:

Up to 180°C continuous load; Nano-Seal 180
W ist water-borne. Consequently, it is almost odour-free
and all potential hazards caused by solvents are avoided. |
Larger pores and higher leakage flow require the X-version,
available as Nano-Seal
120 X. Nano-Seal
120 G and Nano-Seal
120 GX only contain polymers which are approved for the
contact with potable water.
2. Product recommendation: Thermal spraying
Because of the fineness of the pores impregnation of thermally
sprayed layers requires materials with a very good penetration
ability:

120 X. If the part to be impregnated is subjectof chemical
attack Nano-Seal
190 K or
Nano-Seal 500 have to be used. (Both grades can only be
used for small pores.)
5. Product recommendation: Mechanical Engineering
There is a great variety of applications ranging from impregnation
of castings which became porous after
machining and the impregnation of welding
seams to the protection of machinery parts against corrosion
and chemical attack (Nano-Seal
190 K and Nano-Seal
500) - we always offer an optimal solution to your individual
problem in when it comes to metal impregnation.
6. Product recommendation: Rapid Prototyping Models
Porous structures canbe sealed and reinforced by impregnation.
Reliable answers are Nano-Seal
120 for smaller pores and Nano-Seal
120 X for larger pores. If a partital solution of the
model might occur we recommend Nano-Seal
180 W. This product is water-borne thus avoiding any hazards
caused by solvents. Nano-Seal
180 W contains nanoparticles and special additives which
ensure even wetting of critical materials as plastics.
